Wow. It's been 62 weeks since myself or my alter-ego has posted (and no, I am not my alter-ego) or probably even logged in and I'm shocked I still have a livejournal. What an interesting thing to stumble upon from time to time when you're so far removed from your old self. Um, I work at Cool Beans in Denton (still). Since the Tomato burned, Fry has not been the same and I've found myself hiding at home making good use of my FiOS internet and tv capabilities. I don't live where I did, I've bought a house on the north side of town. I miss living by Fry St but there's nothing but job there. No Tomato, and no one to walk down the street to go see. (Speaking of which, on the off chance anyone here knows Dei Vaughn and where she might be or how to get a hold of her or even how she's doing, please e-mail me. Or even her sister Renee--I've lost her contact info as well.) Let's see...current band I'm playing with is called FINAL FIGHT. We don't ever have practice. Ever. We don't have any songs written and we've never played a show with the same line-up of musicians twice: once playing as a trio, another time playing with 2 drummers, a mandolin, upright bass, several guitars, and violin. We just pick a key and play until we're done, then pick another. It's pretty good stuff--more rock 'n roll than anything and none of that hippy jam crap either. Loud. Definitely loud. In fact, we're playing at Cool Beans this Saturday at 4:30p if you're in the greater Denton area. Err...also, (back to the general update) I got engaged recently. The wedding is set for the end of January. Yes, the guy was a fellow Tomato employee (and now Cool Beaner) but I don't think many (if any) of you know him. He's cool though. still at Cool Beans and with the same guy as from the last post last time i checked anyway.
other then that not much to report i have a new band (who's name i forget at the moment)
keep thinking about taking a road trip out of town but never quite finding the time so give
me some ideas on where we should go and who knows maybe i will.

i managed to change my password so my alter-ego had to myspace me to remind me to post. everything's craptacular here--fry st is crumbling one brick at a time (evidentally they built them pretty stout back in the '20's) and that's about the thick of it. i have a house w/ my boyfriend (different boyfriend since the last time i was on here) and i still work at cool beans. i have a new band called FINAL FIGHT so if you hear of a show, it will be epic. other than that, you know the denton drill....eat, sleep, work, smoke, drink, feed cats, repeat.... you can better reach me at www.myspace.com/yourmomandstuff. don't let the screen name fool you (old man doom), it is still me.

So it's May again and I'm not dead yet. (That seems to be the theme here...) I've finally cut the chord and quit the Tomato. It's all Cool Beans from here on out. I like it and I seem to be alright at the job. This "making money" thing is starting to spoil me--buying cat food and paying rent in the same week without overdrafting! Anywho, things are rocking along...for now.

Yes, it is I and not my online alter-ego. I'm surprised my account hasn't been cancelled due to lack of blathering. Anywho, still working at Tomato--hazzah! No band as of late but the possibilities are, as always, endless. Yum--food kicks ass! CSI rocks. Homework sucks but it's crying at me so I must go. Rock and roll bitches!!

The last time my alter-ego posted, I can't really say that I was doing "well" at the time--it's over and don't ever ask. Everything has balanced back out to its boring norm though. Sleezus and I departed so there are no musical projects to speak of right now. I'm in e-school which should prove to be less educational than the DISD but at least I'll get that fucking sheet of paper that I don't give a rat's ass about but everybody else on the fucking planet will implode if I don't have it. (Grrr....) Um...and that's it. I'm ultra-lame now. Nothing but cats and tomato. Lame...lame....lame...

Thank you online alter-ego for reminding me I still have an account and people who seem to be interested. I am alive and surprisingly well. I have two full-blown bands now playing shows regularly and here's the run-down so far if you're in the area:

I've been really busy w/ my bands, obviously, as Sleezus just finished it's 2nd full length cd which is off being mastered as we speak. I'm set to record the Twin Burdens stuff on March 28th and am mecha-excited about that. Other than music, I've been working hardcore at everybody's favorite smarm-filled pit of doom, The Tomato. For spring break, I've managed to save up enough money to get the hell out of here so I will be in London all next week. I'll try to post soon after I get back and tell you about the adventure that I'm sure St. Patrick's Day in London is going to be. Well kids, it's time to flail my arms about and go bolting off in the opposite direction of you so *ZOOM!*

So, I'm posting...yes, Online Alter-Ego--me. There's nothing much to post; went to work, it sucked, went home and detoxed, it was...I tend to forget, went over to Ed's to play Kung-Fu Chaos, it was shiney and colorful. That's it. I have practice for my new band (Heisenburg Uncertainty Trio) tomorrow at noon and then....drumroll...work, again. Will post again when something of substance occurs. G'nite all.
